(no subject)

I'm going to be running a one off game of the Dr Who RPG tonight. I've got characters made and a plot hastily written into my notebook so all things are good to go.

I am however running this game with some trepidation as I know one of the players doesn't like Dr Who at all (particularly new Who) and another one of the players seems to have a somewhat irrational dislike (to my mind) of new Dr Who, which is the continuity my game will be set in. So you'd think I'd pick another game that'd be more accommodating to the groups tastes.

I am sticking with Dr Who though as it's the game I've got the most solid idea for a session with and the game I' m presently enthusiastic about running. past experience has taught me that if I'm not enthusiastic and "into" running a game then the game will suck no matter what the subject matter is.

I'm looking forward to taking a turn in the GM's seat with the Dr Who RPG I'm just slightly nervous that due to the setting and player tastes the game won't go well I am hoping that my sense of enthusiasm will make for a fun game regardless.
