Serious Gigham

Pheeeew! Just finished packing the last bits, and making the incredibly long list of details each box has, which the moving company wants. 7 boxes, all under 30 kg. Wow! What a lot of crazy junk, man. Steve finally packed all of his Man-ly Cables and bike gear last night. Ha ha! They take the Mudanza on Friday, and I'll be so glad. It's cluttering the kitchen something fierce.

Left to do:
1. Cancel 02 phone contract.
2. Cancel Gym.
3. Pay for mudanza/movers.
4. Pay outstanding debt to Uni.
5. Pay 02 bill.

I'd like to have a little meal with the people I love here before I go. A way to say goodbye and feel Ok with leaving, but how much you wanna bet no one has time!? No one can come, and no one, in fact, shows up? Grrrr! Make me wanna hold a Meal for the Assholes in this world and invite them all. Let's see. I sent out invitations, now that exams are done. Let's see how has the time for me... My heart tells me I'll be eating by myself.

Funny Feeling

Yesterday was the ESA med school exam. Felt odd, man. I was in the mall, writing my novel and enjoying some time with Alfie, a friend who took me out for coffee. Well, I knew the exam was on. Heck, it's highlighted and in huge letters in my agendas. I'd been building up for it for months. Well, as it went down, I was very much aware of it. I could see it, feel it. I could feel the excitement. I found myself in this strange odd place where I actually wished I'd take the tests. I missed it, man. The feeling lasted only a few moments. A bitter-sweet melancholy. Then, the exam faded away, and I was happy not to be sitting in that chair, nervous and anxious, hoping to pass. Strange feeling, no? Weeeeeird.

Watching in the Tube

"Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull." It was an Indiana Jones film, so I forgive the over the top special effects, car chases, incredible feats and unrealistic brouhahas! Hey, it's Indy. No? It was alright, entertaining. But, the moment I saw the skull's shape I knew I wouldn't like the rest of the film too much. Alien-like creatures. Aliens, period. Hate them. Don't like alien movies, or anything having to do with them. In particular, the egg shaped head ones with large eyes and Ovni flying saucers, which tend to look whittish or green and make me wanna hurl stuff at the moon, and hope I hit one. Nope. Hate those aliens. Except fot ET and Signs. ET rulz and Signs was so interesting I forgave the alien cameo. The rest make me hate the films they appear on most of the time.

"Pretty in Pink." If you are an 80s fan, go see this film. It rocks! I've been meaning to see it for a while, and I am so glad I did. I love the music, the clothes, the topic, the actors. Yeah! I love this film!

"Ally McBeal." Began to re-watch this show, and I am loving it. Some of the characters in the office make me wanna run for the hills, but I like the quirky, silly show. Ha ha!

Waiting for: The new "Star Trek" film! Yey. The Che Guevara films. Double yey.

Where do we go From Here?

Only 11 days to go, mates. Then, all of this Uk life will be history. Behind me. Just a memory. It's raining. I hate staying alone at home, cuz I start feeling a bit nostalgic, and sad, and I've got nothing to feel bad about. I chose to leave, and I'm happy with my decision. Must be because I've ended everything here already, and am just waiting for June 13 to arrive. Must be it. Ha ha. Yesterday, I wrote a lot of my novel "Dear John" and it's just 1 more chapter from being finished! Woooow! I finally came to it's end, man. Now, I have to revise it, edit it, and make it work into a novel. Maaan! How exciting! I'm hoping to re-publish "The Captain" and publish more of my work. I can do it, man, yes! Hurray for me!!!

Don't forget your umbrella.
