Hullo. Top of the mornin' to ya! Hope everyone is nice and free of moskitoes. Down in my neck of the woods, we've got a hurricane-storm on us, and the rain is big and mighty. Been raining all day. No winds, however, since it's not a full-blown hurricane, but it's the time of the season again! Home Depot is celebrating.
Currently being eaten by: moskitoes. Tons of them. I hate them to bits. But, I don't want to spray anymore Off, since I get nasty headaches from it, and from the Botafogos. So, it's open season on... me.
Just got Registration paperwork from England, and this makes me feel so glad, even if scared. Wow. That time of the year already, huh? I can't believe I am actually registering for medicine courses in... England. Wow. This is so strange, and so happiness inducing.
In yesterday's episode of Gilmore Girls, Rory moves in to Yale's dorms for the first time, and oh, boy, I felt so happy watching that. Nervous a bit, but mostly happy. I can't believe that'll be me in September. Holy smokes! That'll be me, in about 6 weeks. Me, shoveling my belongings to some dorm, and dragging my suitcases and my Cds into my own space far, far away from home. Me, arranging my books and pictures and crazy belongings in some dorm, and then hopping out to 'check the campus out' in the Orientation week, and getting the Uni Id card, and eating at the Common Room, after meeting the Head Boy or Girl, for the first time. It is going to feel soo strange... only I don't have a Lorelai coming with me, and making sure I haul all my things Ok in Luke's truck. There won't be any Luke or Lorelai or any truck. Only a plane, and my heavy things, lugged by my onesies.
Hmmm. And then some. But, it'll be Ok!
Last night, me and Cristy spent until 1am talking about all kinds of stuff, and we got to discussing sex, after talking about Vin Diesel. Ha ha! That conversation was very strange, but also quite nice. I'm glad I could talk to somebody about sex. If it weren't for Hama and Cristy, I'd never, ever get to discuss sex in a mature way.
