First Steps as a Doctor to Be

My Orientation Days at the Med School are done with. Granted, these were not the ones for the school I'll be actually going to, but to a school I've decided not to go to. Still, I heard important things I needed to hear. Study skills, safety practices, and all kinds of things a person needs to hear when he is about to start Medicine School. So, no, I didn't waste my time. I'm so psyched!

On the whole, I did not like that school. Too many snobs and too many competition. I did not like the atmosphere, and the way women treated themselves or let men treat them. Nope. Not my place at all. So, yeah, I will be headed out to Leicester, come September. No qualms. Who cares if I turned our Harvard down? I'll be happier at a place that isn't as intense.

I got my list of books! I got the list of materials I need to buy: gloves, face masks, scrubs, a microscope, a computer, a dissection kit, closed shoes. Ha ha! It was so much fun to hold my first book list, and to know this new life will start in a few months. Oh, boy. Scary, too. Waaay scary! After all of this info, I suppose my eyes are as blankish as this picture of Robert Plant. Ha ha! He looks so cool. Spooked, but cool.

I'm super tired today. Yesterday, I crashed in bed early, because I'd been up since 4am, and driving 6 hours. Today, we drove over 7 hours, man! I am tired, tired, tired. Tomorrow, iGa, I shall comment properly on all the wonderful things going on with my friends. Welcome back, Crissy! Ha ha! I'll try to phone-post for the zillionth time. Heh.
