"stupid backstabbing bitch"
I was just recalling an incident which happened early last week. Someone came walking down the hallway exclaiming "That stupid backstabbing bitch!" and proceeded to grumble what a "backstabber" said "bitch" really was. With listening to those few words, a sly half smile creeped onto my face and I looked up and said.
"Let me guess . . . you're a sophmore."
She responded, suprised.....
"Yes."
Of course these small insignificant bits of conversation seem to get the gears in my head turning. I can't believe just how quickly time does pass. Oh yes I know how cliche. Im more amazed though in the amount of growth contained within those years.But I just wanted to share that with you all. Sometimes I can't help but get frustrated with what people choose to make a big deal about.
"She totally danced with the kid I like... we're so not best friends anymore!"
But i need to take a step back and just chuckle under my breath... they will learn. Time will push and pull and mold them to understand what really is worth getting into a tizzy about. This is no guarentee though . . . some people with particularly thick skulls aren't willing to learn, grow, mature. They'd rather stay sitting alone with their brows furrowed and arms crossed grumbling about how the world is out to get them. Well fine. Go ahead and be that way, but you've got none of my sympathy.
Im sure I could elaborate, but I havent got the time at this moment.
