I've never been one for new years resolutions because I usually can't think of a cause worth committing to, but I've found the inspiration now. Earlier today I found a post of mine from just over a year ago - just a random reply I made to someone else - and it was painful to read because it was so pointlessly verbose. Being too wordy is a problem I've been aware of for a while now and I'd already put some effort into toning it down but discovering that awful post (and there's no guarantee that post was even the worst thing I've inflicted on other people) only made me more determined to fix it. So my resolution is, for the sake of the people reading this blog, to abuse the dictionary less in the future. Feedback on how I'm doing would be welcome.
