Batman and Robin was a much better film than I remembered No, really.
This movie is the very definition of so-bad-it's-good. Unlike when I rewatched Batman Forever and it turned out to be strangely dull and disappointing Batman and Robin was such an unrepentant pillar of pure camp it was impossible to dislike, all thanks to the ridiculous stunts, surreal costumes and environments, cheap sets, lurid colours and endless wordplay. Batman and Batman Returns are good films. Batman and Robin isn't a good film but it's an entertaining film. Batman Forever sort of falls between the cracks and doesn't achieve either. My hierarchy for the Bat-Moves currently stands at Dark Knight > Returns > Batman > & Robin > Forever. Begins isn't here because I want to give it another watch before I tier it. I remember really disliking it the first time but I want to give it another chance.
I also gave up on those TGS impressions as they're totally out of date now. It's a good thing this blog isn't my job. I probably shouldn't try writing any big articles until I'm done blogging the Character Contest (which should continue next update).
