Finally someone else but me
said that JKR needs to write more books with a resurrected Snape! Yay, I was so hopeful about this idea once upon a time, but have since started to accept that I'm not only a delusional fangirl, but, more importantly and depressingly, completely alone in my delusion.
But Frank Cottrell Boyce, children's writer, surely knows what he is talking about:
In my opinion the series' most compelling character was Snape, and it would be interesting to see him resurrected. Yes I do know he died in the books but so did Sherlock once upon a time. In these touchy feely days, it says a great deal for Rowling's skill and courage that she ever gave a central role to such a chilly and morally complex character as Snape.
Of course JKR has at this point already admitted to be pretty much working on a sequel trilogy (it was a trilogy, right?). So I'm fired up and hopeful again. So much I immediately wrote some Albus Severus fanfiction upon reading this article yesterday! :D But I need to make this post too.
I haven't really read the "No" opinion. Star Wars prequels sucked blabla. People need to get over this! Also, prequels are just generally a bad idea, always go forward! Optimistically! (Same thing goes for an Inception sequel and it's need to happen.)
