some days, it doesn't pay to chew through the leather straps of a morning

We are at present entertaining ourselves with Gackt:

The tragedy of girl molesters.
Gackt catches a fly.
Missing a bank shot.
Shattering a bottle with one finger-flick. Granted, an armored finger, but still.
One of the more surreal videos for the single peppiest Gackt song ever. (I also found translated lyrics, so yay!)

Omahyra Mota is interesting for a model--she's absolutely unique in look, she doesn't look like any other model walking the runways. Androgynous to a fault, aggressive as hell and usually looks pissed off--and oddly, very popular.

They look so miserable! Well, I guess I would look miserable if I had to appear in public like that, too.

Very true. Just, start to finish, *terrifying* show.

Maybe it's a panda motif with the second to last one's facepaint. Seriously. The added irony is the name of the show. "Ready to Wear"? Like, what, this is stuff that people would have in their wardrobe so that they can put on the drapes and paint themselves up like evil clowns whenever they feel like just going out?

*considers that for a moment*

*shudders deeply*

Damn. That's just a chilling thought. "I really need some things from the store...I know! I'll wear that dress with the tattered hem that looks like a child fingerpainted on it! And I'll paint my lips over on my right cheek."

Yeah, I can see this happening all over...

Oooh! Ooh! Wasn't that the plot of a Batman? That all these people painted themselves up like the Joker?

The makeup on the first model resembles boils, and on the second, buboes. How appealing. And that blue plastic visor on the third model? I'm pretty sure that's blue greasepaint, actually. For one thing, if it isn't, then that model would have escaped with her face un"decorated."

And the dropcloth kimono gal also appears to be missing a leg.

This Westwood person really is worse than Galliano. And doesn't even have the excuse of hating the opposite sex to support her actions.

And the thing is, she used to be sane!

But gad, I think you're right, I think that is face paint!

And yeep, what is it with the angles and the missing limbs, now?!?
