some days, it doesn't pay to chew through the leather straps of a morning

We are at present entertaining ourselves with Gackt:

The tragedy of girl molesters.
Gackt catches a fly.
Missing a bank shot.
Shattering a bottle with one finger-flick. Granted, an armored finger, but still.
One of the more surreal videos for the single peppiest Gackt song ever. (I also found translated lyrics, so yay!)

How to throw an adult tea party. You know what's the most baffling thing about that page? It's not the tea party idea. People throw tea parties, they're fun to go to, I get the whole idea. For me, though, it's all in the first paragraph:

"Remember those enjoyable afternoons spent in the company of a few friendly dolls, a nice pot of pretend tea and a few cookies snagged from the kitchen?"

Uh, no. I was too busy climbing trees and burying dead pets, frankly.

Deep brain stimulation good for depression. And OCD. My problem with this? Electrodes in the brain make us happy. Um. This is way too close to a lot of cyberpunk take-over-the-world fiction for me.

And damn, this was supposed to be sent several, several hours ago, and I'm just getting back to it at quarter to nine pm. Argh.

I send it now!

After evil fashions...

The pain...continues...so much...OW...

And the bad shoes! And the weird torn socks! And the five-year-old painting lingerie! Dear gods, WHY, just why in the HELL...

And the fingerpaint kimono. Goes so well on the fingerpainted model.

*shudders*

Blue plastic visor: check.

Pale blue flashlight earring: check.

Weird spiky alien flower: check.

Poky butterfly belt on gold/orange leather: check.

Weird drapey glittery gold half-dress: check.

Random stripes of blue paint on legs: check.

Black and white squared-toe shoes: check.

Now. Does anything in the above list actually go together and look fashionable?

Remember the close-up from this show with the bad make-up drawn all over? THIS IS HER. THIS IS THAT FREAKISH OUTFIT.

AAAIIIGH!

So..what they did was...take the drop cloth over to the daycare center...and put it down on the floor...and give all the kids glitter paints?

Is that what they did for the whole show, then? It's all tempura and glitter paint and watercolor sets? Only on occasion they got to lay the models down and paint them?

It's one explanation, anyway..

That's all I want to know. I see the one stilt. Where's her...other stilt?

Okay, now I curl up with book and fall down.
