When I have to go to the
the BBC to find out what's happening in America? It's a bad sign for our country.
What's being aired on local news that made me run to the BBC?
Teens use technology to fight blemishes.
How to ease computer frustration.
Marriage licence filed by Beyonce and Jay-Z.
They had stories on who's got the best--and the worst--restrooms in town. Who's being 'let go' from American Idol. A "fascinating' new study out that could help women have more male children.
What's happening in Somalia, damn it? What about Iraq and Iran? Who's running ahead in the polls for presidential candidates? When did these stop being news stories?!?
Bugs me. Just bugs me. Yes, I know it's a Fox affiliate, but still.
Robots continue
to improve. (First link gives you background on her, second is a YouTube link to actually watching her move and talk.)
And Christiaan Postma's
toothpick timepiece.
catdancer says it'd drive her crazy.
Fashions. Of EVIL!
I gotta give her props for professional behavior. It's hard to look this happy when a large plastic disc the color of
Merthiolate is beating your temple to death.

'Course, you could have this woman's problems--she's an escapee from some Dr. Seuss universe, but she still has to walk a runway for her breakfast, and have her temple beaten in by evil plastic discs. Gosh, what more can befall her?

This woman is desperately unhappy with her Dr. Suess lifestyle. Just look at the size of those buttons, for instance! Imagine trying to unfasten them!
Oh, wait, that's the problem--no one ever undresses in Dr. Suess books! The horror!

She knows she looks dorky. We can't lie to her. She's just hoping to get down the runway and back again without starting to throw bits of her costume at people.
We understand, trust me. We'd be tempted, too.

I admit, sometimes the line between SL and real life blurs, just a bit. My first reaction was to roll my eyes, and think, Damn it, the grid's not working again, her feet have sunk into the sim.
Then my eyes bugged out and I thought, noooo, this is real life, so--where the hell are her FEET?!?
