Upside of having a psychic bond with the love of your life: sharing emotions, being able to 'call' one another in times of crisis, 'pinging' on their location to know where they are, feeling as if one is really, truly connected to another soul on the planet--because said one, really truly is.
Downside: I spent most of the day asleep, since Cat, being sick this week, is pulling on my energy hard to stay upright and functional at work. Generally, I do not mind this--she acts as part of my shielding system, so I can function; when she needs it, my energy's hers to draw on. It works. It's just...I had things I was going to do today, that obviously aren't going to get done.
So, no more plans of picking up, doing laundry, flipping the mattress. Maybe I'll open PhotoShop and play with graphics. Or, y'know, sit here and play games. :)
Btw--for the record--Hide and Seek, the Robert deNiro/Dakota fanning thriller? VERY, VERY CREEPY. Completely got under our skins last night, to the point that we put off playing about on the disc's special features until sometime today. Really well done. I can completely see why members of the cast won awards for their performances.
New use for incense. Good to know.

Actually, I like a lot of her designs. Sad, I know. First, I have to admire any actress willing to take on PETA, and second, she's doing some great work bringing back a sense of soft--not so much in her designs, but that she's willing to design in angora, silk, fur and chamois leather. Everything she designs seems very tactile.
