Tipped by pope_guilty--Vox Day explains why womens' rights are wrong. Whoa.

Also tipped by Pope G--bunch of idiots getting outraged over the behavior of a man who likes to push buttons. Now, listen--I was in California when Reagan was Governor, and he didn't do any great bang-up job. And then he became President, and for all of me, he was the worst Sockpuppet pres ever--at least until the Shrub came along. Trust me--this is the man who declared catsup a vegetable so he could save billions on school lunch funding. This was the idiot who started the massive gutting of social-support programs to fund bigger and better guns, missiles and attack planes. This was the braindead moron who said "Hawaii is one of our greatest allies in the Pacific" and "Where would this nation be without this great land of ours?"

Get real. He was not exactly our Great Shining Leader. So some dude's been snapped dancing on his grave. Good for him. And get over it.

Another tipped link--apparently, in Michigan at least, you can go medieval on the cops. Of course, they will take you down soon after that, because they have shiny space weapons. :)

Also tipped (what can I say, it was a good entry): It's a giant rubber band with a hole in it. What the hell? (SO not work-safe!)

They want one hundred dollars for that thing. Plus shipping. What the hell? I am not paying a hundred bucks for a bouncy footrest!

*Psigh*. Brought to you by the country that made cheesecake a topping. Man. We are so damned lazy.

Yes. I'm very fond of pope_guilty, why do you ask? :)

And two from tboy:

All you have to do is disagree with the President. (An old link, but it's scary how it's remained relevant.)

Iraq is an epic train wreck, and there's not a single American citizen who's going to walk away unscathed. (From 2004, but it's scary to note that the more things didn't change, the more they stayed the same.)

And I sent her this link about the creeping tide of theocracy in this country.

So much for the cheerful, we're-all-going-to-die links. Now I'm depressed.

But check it out, check it out, CHECK IT OUT!! The 'color" Fairy Books are available ONLINE! It's nothing like having them in your possession to chortle over and dance around the house with read, but hey, it's something.

And will indubitably serve until I get more than just my lone copy of the Violet Fairy book. Definitely.

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy,
a quickening that is translated through you into
action,
and because there is only one of you in all of time, this
expression is
unique.
And if you block it, it will never exist through any
other medium and
it will be lost.
The world will not have it.

It is not your business to determine how good it is
nor how valuable
nor how it compares with other expressions.
It is your business to keep it yours clearly and
directly,
to keep the channel open.

Which, by the way, you should all go look at. And maybe buy stuph from her. Because Charm School needs more love.

Finally, I bring you...The only game in town. And other than being ruthlessly bored by IRC, that's it. :)
