I almost took Anna into Coraline instead of Hotel for Dogs, but the theater was full of adults, no kids. Is it one of those that adults enjoy even more than the kids do?
Alas, I have seen nothing new. I did watch the 5th element and Mortal Kombat for the nth time the other day. I'm such a movie dullard. I was going to see the Watchmen but didn't get that far.
I have a friend that went and saw Slumdog Millionaire. It wasn't her kind of movie, but she still enjoyed it and said it was done well - not something you'd take the kids to, though.
The only one I've seen recently was Taken, and it was good. It was dark and intense, but had a good ending (I hate tragic endings). Other than that, there hasn't been anything I wanted to see.
I saw that too! I walked out of that movie tense and bug-eyed, talk about edge of your seat. I also wondered why I wasn't kidnapped by Eastern Europeans while I was in Europe. What, I wasn't good enough?
