So this is goodbye, Shanghai
I just came back half an hour ago from karaoke madness (4:30 AM) with a small group of people. We figured we'd wrap up Shanghai with a bang, improvising lyrics on songs like N*Sync's "Bye Bye Bye" with statements like "I've had enough of you, Shanghaaaaiii~!!!" It was all in all good, clean fun. I'm totally wide awake as a result, and it's doubtful that I'm going to sleep anytime soon. Oh these people, I'm going to miss them and the collective bitching we all shared for this study abroad curriculum. And Shanghai will just simply be Shanghai -- I'll miss the food, the sights, and the prices; but not the people, the dirtiness, the compact spaces, the air, and the humidity. You have a long way to go, my friend, and mark my words I'll come back someday. Thank you for having me.
