I had to cancel my attendance at FilkContinental 2011.

I have to be realistic about this. I'm really ill. That means I'm not only at home, feeling ok, just being not well enough to go out and do things. It means I'm actually ill at home, feeling bad even if I don't do anything.

Most of the time I'm sleeping. Not only lying in bed reading but sleeping

Sorry to hear it, and hope you feel better very quickly. Unsurprisingly, we are in the same boat - I reckon if I'm not well enough to walk to the Tube station in order to get as far as the embassy to renew my passport, then I'm *probably* not quite up to making it to Freusburg. ;) Still - it sucks! We'll have to return with a vengeance next year...

I'm sorry to hear this, but I think it's probably a good decision. I had mono for 6 months when I was a child and it was *horrible.* My thoughts are with you for fast recovery!

Autsch, das klingt ja böse! Gute Besserung, ich drücke Dir alle Däumchen und großen Zehen dass es möglichst schnell besser wird. Aber die Entscheidung, dann nicht zur Con zu kommen, ist wohl die bessere, auch wenn es schade ist.
