Nelio's Kingdome Hearts 2 Report #13
40 Hours in. Though I defeated the game last night, it came to my attention that much like in its predecessor, this game has a secret video at the end if you get everything. Upon some further investigation on the internet, I have found that on standard mode (the mode I am on) in order to access the video you must fully complete each world. This means you must clear ALL missions, mini games, treasure, plot in the world, and have the journal at 100%. On hard mode you simply need to clear all words.
Though I did indeed finish each world and got all the plot, tonight I ventured for in search of the remaining treasure I missed. Well, in the search, I have found treasure chest that I cannot either access, or seem not to appear. In frustration and failure of finding a full treasure guide on the normally reliable GameFaqs, I started looking through the various missions.
Some of the missions seem easy, like repeating a few mini games, however there are other things in these missions that are simply put, beyond human ability to perform, and frankly I don't quite have the time like I did in my younger days to try to fully crush the game. The biggest obstacle in the way of the extra movie would be Sephiroth, one of the extra bosses to the game, and the hardest boss in the game.
I took him on tonight twice, and he totally and utterly crushed any hope out of me of legitimately getting the video I desired. So I turned once again to the internet for help, and about 10 minutes later I had the video on my hard drive. It makes me a little sad I resorted to such means of doing it, but even I have my limits and my desire to continue playing the game has grown thin. With this said, this will bring the end to my reports on the wonderful game.
