The orientation at the new work place went well, I think. The newbie feeling always sucks, and I have, like, anxiety issues with standing around and doing nothing, and there was a lot of that. Have new job jitters. I'm not technically starting on a new job, but I'm getting introduced to a new building with new oldies. I'm sure it will be FINE, it's so much calmer than where I'm currently at. One of the former substitutes--now a regular--says that it's like vacation working there. I like the evening shift because it allows me to sleep in and not rush to get ready for work. Nonetheless, all the hours before going to work always turn from 'spare time' to 'waiting to go to work-time'. It is an art I have yet to master.

So, first one of my bosses called and woke me up this morning and gave me work tomorrow and Wednesday, then my other boss called and gave me work for today. Work split shift tomorrow, both morning and evening. But NOT the evening shift with these people. Thank fucking god.

Found out today that one of the old ladies at the home passed away on Tuesday. It was very sudden, apparently, she was relatively healthy til the very end; she passed out in the bathroom, but that's happened before with her bouncing back, so after she came to again, they'd put her to bed.
