*seriously ponders how to write a serious review without going SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

Well, this was an extremely emotionally touching episode, where the conflict of two identities struggling to co-exist was a real attention-grabber and-

Oh, who am I kidding?

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

How frigging good wasn't DH in this? So so impressed.

Rodney was funny and angsty and wooby-ish and clever and cute and siiiiiiiiiigh. I love Rodney, so so much.

Carson. Not only was he even lovelier than usual, but I think he's becoming prettier for each ep that passes.

Ronan. I liked him the last ep. By the end of the meal he ate in this one, he'd officially hooked me for good. Plus, he didn't beat Teyla because he was better, but because she dropped her guard. It's okay then.

I'm so waiting for her to drop him on his ass, though.

Shep. Has the man no limits to his pretty? When he was lounging in the gym...I kept getting distracted from Ronan's arms by Shep's lounging. Mmmmmmm.

He seemed a lot grimmer this ep, even without Caldwell around to bug him. He never even hesitated about shooting the dart even though he knew his own people were in it. In a way, he's turning more into Jack. Jack's always been the "I'll do this even though it really sucks" kind of guy (except for in Zero Hour) and Shep seems to be becoming more and more like that. Sure, he's always been that kind of guy, but he's always hesitated more. It feels like after Ford, Shep is toughening up.

I did like that he tried to apologize to Rodney about it, even though I thought he did the right thing. Shep may be the guy who gets things done, but he still feels like crap about them. WOOBIE! *hugs*

Teyla. I still wanted her to kick some ass, but I feel slightly justified by her getting to fire a really big gun. Also, she is so flirting with Ronan.

Elizabeth. She is totally flirting with Ronan too. Shep has turned everyone into hussies, OMG! I loved the Shep/Weir scene near the end; they seem a lot more relaxed this season. Must be all the sexin'. :D

Zelenka. He continues to make me wish that he'd be a main character so that the writers won't kill him on a whim. If anything were to happen to Zelenka, I'd be so heartbroken. I love how he chews Rodney up while still managing to be compassionate. Le sigh.

Laura What'shername (AKA Girl Inside Rodney). I really really liked her! I liked that she and Rodney kind of liked each other and I was really worried that she'd have to die. I will also worship her forever for giving me some slash smooching in canon.

Man, I can just hear the slashers frantic typing of the fics where Rodney *pretended* that it was Laura in control.

Also; Kate and Lorne! I love how the show is built on recurring characters. It's the Voyager principle, only Voyager was never as good at it as SGA is.

So, to sum up: SQUEEEEEEEEE This is definitely my favorite ep of the season so far (and no, not just because of the smooch). If they keep this up, I'll be in a happiness induced coma by the end of the seasons and you won't have to read my ramblings.

Oh, and I almost forgot:

Carson is skeptical to the idea of Rodney dating a woman.

And who can blame him?

The morning after. ;)

Also:

Hehehehe.

Again, caps by the lovely yamadara.
