My parents
Ryosuke stepped in the bungalow. He could see Kota was sitting on the couch staring at him but he acted like he didn’t see it.
“Yamada, I challenge you for the Knight position. This time I’m sure I’ll win the battle and kick you out from that rank.” Keito suddenly approached Ryosuke. As always Ryosuke ignored him.
“You met her twice this day, didn’t you?” Kota gave Ryosuke a deadly glare.
“So what? You don’t have the right to butt in my life.” Ryosuke replied the glare.
The silent and glared each other moment stayed for a while.
“My hamster is getting cuter and cuter everyday. But I think he needs…” Ryutaro words were stopped by Keito.
“Shh…Let’s go somewhere else before….” Keito couldn’t finish his words.
“Keito, Ryutaro don’t you ever to go out of this room,” Yabu instructed both of them and gave you’ll-will-die-if-you-go-away glare. Both of them quickly firm up theirs body as soldiers.
“Where is Hikaru?” Ryutaro whispered to Keito. Keito just dragged up his shoulder, a sign of ‘don’t know’.
“I’m your father and I have the right on you before you turn 18,” Kota continued the fight.
“You are not my father!” Ryosuke shouted and strengthen the word ‘father’.
“I’m your official father and it had been stated in your ID,” Kota defended himself.
“It just a piece of crap and not more,” Ryosuke stepped forwards closer to Kota.
“What if Queen find out that you not following her orders?” Kota asked.
“That’s it! You only care about Queen and this rotten organization. Not a single second you think about my feeling as your son. You don’t deserve to be my father.” Ryosuke turned away from Kota.
“If it’s not because of this organization,” Kota already gripped his fist.
“I’ll never adopt a brat kid like you and…”
“Kota, please stop it.” Hikaru embraced Kota from back. Kota sighed. Hikaru always knew his weakness.
“Thanks god Hikaru is here,” Keito breathe out relieved. Ryosuke quickly went upstairs.
“I’ll talk to him if you don’t mind.” Hikaru asked Kota. Kota corrected his position on the couch and nodded.
“I’ll be waiting for you in the room,” Kota said as Hikaru already went upstairs.
The door was knocked.
“It’s not locked,” Ryosuke didn’t answer the door. He was playing some hitting demon game on his laptop.
“Can I have a word with you?” Hikaru asked and kindly sat on Ryosuke bed. Ryosuke closed his laptop and sauntered to his bed. Ryosuke had used to it, been comforted by Hikaru after a big fight with Kota. However, he was glad that Hikaru comforted him.
“Come on, lye on this bed.” Hikaru said patting on the bed. Ryosuke just followed what Hikaru instructed him.
“You’ll have school and mission for tomorrow. So, you need a nice sleep tonight.” Hikaru was rubbing Ryosuke head smoothly.
“Don’t mind about what your father said. He doesn’t really mean it.” Hikaru smiled sweetly at Ryosuke.
“Now, why did you meet that girl? You know that Kota will be mad, right?” Hikaru asked.
“I want her to grant my wish.” Ryosuke answered coldly.
“But you don’t have to meet her for the second time,” Hikaru tried to make Ryosuke aware of his fault.
“I just want to make sure she didn’t betray me because she already meets with The Ace and her friend is a member of The Ace.” Ryosuke tried to defend that he was innocent.
“Shouldn’t you report this to Kota?” Hikaru asked gently.
“I want to but when I arrived he quickly scolded me.” Ryosuke complained to Hikaru. Hikaru just chuckled hearing that from Ryosuke.
“Want a bedtime story before you go to sleep?” Hikaru asked. Ryosuke shook his head.
“I know you want it,” Hikaru smiled and poked Ryosuke nose.
“I’m not a little boy anymore.” Ryosuke answered.
“You’ll always be my little boy,” Hikaru said.
“Long time ago, live a man with a powerful magic. He had a protector that always helping him. He was lived to save people from earth disaster. Suddenly, he died and the power turned down to his only son. However, his son was a very cruel person. He had fell in love with the protector wife. That’s all. Now, good night.” Hikaru stopped his fairytale story.
“Eh? Don’t end now.” Ryosuke demanded.
“You said you’re not a little boy anymore.” Hikaru smirked knowing his plan working as always. Ryosuke turned away, a sign of protest.
“I’ll continue tomorrow night but in one condition,” Hikaru said.
“What is it?” Ryosuke asked curiously.
“Don’t forget to report to Kota. I didn’t really bother about you meeting that girl but tell him first.” Hikaru explained.
“He will never listen.” Ryosuke sighed.
“If he not listen then tells me.” Hikaru patted Ryosuke shoulder. Ryosuke nodded. Hikaru then kissed Ryouke’s forehead and stood up.
“Good night,” Hikaru said and turned to the door.
“Hikaru!” Ryosuke suddenly called him. Hikaru turned to him.
“Good night,” Ryosuke said. Hikaru smiled and went out of the room.
Hikaru closed the door.
“I know you’re eavesdropping just now.” Hikaru said.
“Ma.. Is it too obvious?” Kota came out from behind a cupboard.
“Yes for me,” Hikaru walked downstairs.
Ryosuke looked blankly to the door. Remembering the first time he met Kota and Hikaru.
*Flashback
“I’ll adopt you from today onwards,” Kota said to Ryosuke while the funeral of his family ended. Ryosuke blurred. Who is this guy? He thought.
“He is so cute. I’m glad you’re our son,” Hikaru said while pinching his cheeks. It hurt but he was used to it. Our son?
Ryosuke looked intensely to Hikaru. He was a kid, with his height and his cute face. From Ryosuke observation, he might 2 or 3 years older than him but how could he be his son.
“Call me mama and this guy papa,” Hikaru said to Ryosuke. Ryosuke looked at Hikaru then he looked at Kota. He looked to Hikaru back.
“Oka-san,” Ryosuke said. Hikaru chuckled.
“Well, that not bad either. Now, call this guy otou-san.” Hikaru showed Kota. Ryosuke looked blankly to Kota.
“Oyaji,” Ryosuke said coldly.
“What did you say?” Kota felt his heart burning.
“Ko-chan, he just a kid,” Hikaru hold Kota’s hand.
*End Flashback
Ryosuke smiled. That was the first and the last time he called Kota and Hikaru oyaji and oka-san.
At first, he was always wondering why Hikaru looked like a kid but acted maturely. However, Hikaru always told him bedtime stories and from there he knew about Kota and Hikaru secret.
Kota and Hikaru was married hundreds years ago and Hikaru was a girl. However, Kota couldn’t die so he requested to the owner of ‘The Ultimate Power of Earth’ to reborn Hikaru without erasing the memories of her life before. The owner granted Kota wish and Hikaru reborn.
After three years of Hikaru’s reborn, she will definitely go to a place that only they know. The funny part was Hikaru will be reported lost by her parents and everyone was searching for her. At that time, people said she had been eaten by the monster.
That phase was repeated every time Hikaru died until now.
Ryosuke closed his eyes, sleeping.
