Lost guardian
“There you are,” Yuuri said as he found both Ryosuke and Mirai. Yuuri took out his sword and pointed it at Ryosuke. Ryosuke just glared at the boy in front him.
Yuuri kept attacking but Ryosuke get away from that easily. Yuuri smiled.
“This is not the best from me.” Yuuri jumped and disappeared suddenly. Ryosuke closed his eyes, trying to sense the move. Yuuri appeared at Ryosuke back and the sword at his neck.
“Sorry, you’re not the only one who can do that.” Ryosuke glanced at Yuuri’s sword and disappeared. Yuuri quickly changed the direction of his sword and Ryosuke appeared right in front of it.
“But, I can sense you faster.” Yuuri smirked. Ryosuke jumped backward and retreat every attack from Yuuri. Suddenly, Ryosuke get hold of Yuuri shoulder and his leg strike the sword. The sword flew away from Yuuri hand. Yuuri freeze. He didn’t sense that move before.
“You’re not that fast yet,” Ryosuke walked away.
“Wait! What you have done to Ryutaro?” Yuuri could see Ryosuke stopped.
“He is not like what you think he was,” Ryosuke left away.
Mirai just blurred. She couldn’t see the whole situation but she knew Ryosuke won the battle.
“Are you okay?” Yuuri asked Mirai while picking up his sword. Mirai nodded her head.
“Let’s go. I’m sure Takaki-san has waiting for you.” Yuuri quickly walked to the stairs.
“Who are you?” Mirai suddenly asked as she didn’t understand about the incident happened just now. Chinen turned back to Mirai and chuckled.
“I’m sorry, I’m Chinen Yuuri. I’m here as Yuto asked me to find you.” Yuuri introduced himself.
“I’m Shida Mirai,” Mirai introduced herself.
“I know. I had been stalking you for a while.” Yuuri tried to change the stiff situation. Mirai just chuckled.
“Chinen, didn’t I told you don’t make a move?” Yuto started to lecture Yuuri.
“Don’t worry. I’m good at handling this kind of situation. No one hurt, right?” Yuuri walked away from Yuto.
“Where do you want to go? I haven’t finish with you yet.” Yuto sounded so serious.
“Someone is waiting for me. Sorry.” Yuuri didn’t turn back. Yuto just sighed.
“He is really stubborn sometimes.” Kei suddenly came out right behind Yuto.
“Not sometimes. Always,” Yuto corrected the fact. Kei chuckled and looked at the room behind them.
“I’m Daiki Arioka and this is Takaki Yuya,” Arioka started the conversation.
“I’m Shida Mirai,” Mirai introduced herself. It had been the second time for today.
“I’ll tell you briefly about the condition.” Arioka opened a file.
“You get this power from your grandmother as your mother died. This power only chooses someone from Shida family and you’re the only Shida left. This power is unlimited. It also called as ‘The Ultimate power of Earth’. You supposed to have a guardian but he had lost after the death of your grandmother. Any question?” Arioka ended his almost-become-longer explanation.
“But I never feel something strange about myself. I think you get the wrong person.” Mirai stood up and turned to the door.
“Wait!” Yuya suddenly voiced.
“Please sit back,” Arioka showed the chair. Mirai followed the command as she was shocked.
“The only way you can use the power is by finding your guardian. He is an ageless person. He had been protecting your family for hundreds years. He is the only person who can awake the powers inside you. That is the only fact that we have about him. We’re sorry for not helping that much,” Arioka bowed a bit.
“I’ll send you home,” Yuto offered. Mirai shook her head.
“It’s okay. I’ll be fine.” Mirai rejected politely.
“But it was my job to protect you. I’m your guardian.” Yuto tried to persuade Mirai. Mirai looked at Yuto strangely. Could it be Yuto is my guardian?
Mirai shook her head.
“It couldn’t be you. What am I thinking?” Mirai walked away from Yuto. Yuto had been left without understand anything.
Shintaro played with a big teddy bear that his brother gave him before he entered hospital.
“Shin-chan, how are you today?” Yuuri asked cheerfully.
“Chinen-kun!” Shintaro said joyfully quickly hugged the boy.
“Oni-chan still didn’t come,” Shintaro nodded almost cried.
“He is still busy. I’m sure he really wants to come.” Chinen gave a box to Shintaro.
“He asks me to give you this,” Chinen said smiling to Shintaro. Shintaro quickly opened the box.
“A cake! Tell him I love him and I miss him and I want to meet him and…”
“I’m sure he knows that,” Chinen cut Shintaro words. I hope so.
The doorbell was ringing.
“Mayuko, please open the door. I have to finish my cooks or you’ll not get dinner,” Mirai shouted from the kitchen. Mayuko moved lazily towards the door.
When she opened the door, a boy was standing right before her. Her eyes widen as her heart beat faster. She was astonished by the boy eyes, his expression, his style; everything about him seems so perfect.
“Mayu-chan, who is there?” Mayuko awaked from her daydream.
“I’m Yamada Ryosuke,” Ryosuke introduced himself before Mayuko could ask anything.
“So, you’re the new student. I’m Shida Mirai cousin, Fukuda Mayuko.” Mayuko bowed her head a bit.
“Who is there? Ah! It’s you.” Mirai came out of the kitchen and saw Ryosuke was sitting on the couch with Mayuko.
“I have something to discuss with you,” Ryosuke told.
“What is it?” Mirai sat on the opposite couch.
“You have met with The Ace, right?” Ryosuke start the conversation with a question. Mirai nodded her head.
“I hope you’ll not break our promise.” Ryosuke stood up and walked to the door.
“Eh? Don’t go yet. Let’s have dinner with us.” Mayuko was influencing Ryosuke. Ryosuke shook his head slowly.
“Don’t you even dare to betray me,” Ryosuke warned before he left.
