Here's the first page of the Zero Issue, which attempts to introduce the world and the characters.
I found the Zero Issue slightly confusing but once the #1 Issue actually gets going, things get interesting. At least I think they do.
Then again I was actually there, in a sense, when all this was unfolding...

P.S. "Tome" is a guy. He just spends much of his time around books. Aside from jogging (while reading) the gym does not actually enter the equation much. He likes firearms, cars, and is amazing at videogames.
