Hello?

I'm resurrecting my old livejournal and I thought it would be nice to throw my thoughts somewhere to see if they stick.
Since it's been a while let me re-introduce myself...

I'm a graphic designer (or at least aspiring to be) If you've read any of my previous entries you would have gotten the idea that I was in University for the last 4-5 years studying a double degree of complete irrelevance to what I'm doing now. I just like to think those years were the ones that shaped me for the better. I've been through quiet a bit (I'm 25 by the way) and although I'm not that old (age is relative after all imho), I feel like I've learnt more in those 4 years than an average person does in a lifetime (a pinch of salt may be needed to garnish this sentence).

I started this journal to write/ read about this incredible person I found living a humble, unrecognised life as an actor many thousand seas from where I live. To be honest he inspired me to the extent of following his journey to become the recognised actor he is today from the age of 22. So I guess he made up the first part of the changes I went through.

Then through circumstance I met another person who had a huge impact on the way I thought and my life started to take a drastic turn at that point. You know how you've lost something and you're fumbling in the dark kind of hopeless? Well he came along and held a light to where I was looking. I've been grateful ever since. Because he was one of my biggest teachers and confidants.

Moving on from this I met the third person who was the catalyst that made me abandon my fears and to truely follow what I'm passionate about. And thats what I am doing and I couldn't be happier.

So thats me up till now since the last 4 ish years. The things that happened to me, the people I met, the struggles, the fears all of it, I'm glad it all happened. I know I still have stuff to learn, more to understand, so here's to moving forwards.

The Digest:

I'm studing Japanese, I have been for awhile and even met up with some Japanese penpals in Japan and in Sydney (These people were amazing)

I finally took a trip to Japan last year and at a time a needed it most.
It was awesome to get away like that especially to Kyoto.

I'm still catching up with Toma stuff and my love for all things Japanese cinema and language has not changed.

I'm open to making friends who want to start a conversation!

I'm planning to do some throught series/ throught catalogs to start things off and of course any fandom/ Japanese related things that interest me.

Here's an image of Kyoto as a parting gift...until next time!
