And here it is again... Sunday night... and I'm once more doing everything I can to be done my work by tomorrow when it's due. The last few projects have been finished on the last night at about 3 AM. This is hard. I don't have the room to do it at home... which I mentioned before, and there's really no way to do it at school on the weekends when your stuff is due on Monday. I can't waste the gas to go to either Joanna's place in Marietta, nor to head to my friend Julie's place and spread out on the floor there. Besides that, Julie would distract me and her cats are as bad as mine. I did get a reply back from my coach; Marilyn; at school. I found that Work Study is done through Financial Aid, so that's two things I have to go there for. The other is to see if I have any vouchers for things like extra pen or new paper and such.
I know I have to find a better way to manage time, but I've never been that good at it. I know it's not good to wait until last minute to FINISH work. I do start on it, it's a matter of getting it finished before 6 hours ahead of the due date. It's getting more and more frustrating each time it happens. I'm sick of not sleeping long enough and getting really off-track on the weekends because I CAN sleep over the weekend and not have to get up and be somewhere. However, this coming weekend is different. I'm going to Otakon in Baltimore and to get be able to enjoy it, Ki and I have to get our badges Thursday night, then see how we are on Friday. If we feel alright, we'll spend Friday night down there buying things from the Dealer's Room and walking around Artist's Alley... but she wants to sell some of her artwork, so we have to get there really early on Saturday so she can put her art in and pay the $25 fee to sell her stuff in the Art Auction on Sunday. I kind of wish I had something I felt good enough about to sell. ....Well I do, but I don't have the money to get it printed out in a quality to sell. Bah... I just hope I'll have enough cash to get some nice things from the Dealer's Room. Oh... yes, we need lots of batteries for her camera and I intend to take my laptop with me to clear that card. She can only hold 16 images at a time and if we clear the card when we have 16 on the card and change batteries often, we should be able to get a lot of nice pics this year. Better Quality too, since the Mavica from last year kind of sucked and the battery went out on it recently anyway... I wish I knew for sure if I could borrow a video camera from IT for this weekend. I wouldn't make any profit off video from Otakon, and it'd be awesome to have video of our weekend... I'll have to ask. Never hurts to ask. Ne?
Oh! I wanted to tell everyone that so far my projects; despite being so last minute in the FINISHING... have all come back with good grades. ^^ I will have to work on Time Management, but I do know for a fact that even if you have the best schedule, the problem is that you also need somewhere to have that schedule work out and add in time for getting there if it's farther than a few minutes travel.
......I wanted more to this picture due tomorrow, but the only thing I can think of is to color it and make it look nice. That's all that I can come up with. It seems a little plain, but yet, it looks rather nice as is too.... I need to get used to drawing on paper more... I got too used to drawing on the computer in like Open Canvas and Paint Shop Pro. *snicker* Bah... it'll be nice to start using paper more often. Expecially since part of my space issue is that I have to use my Mac because of two reasons...
1.) Shugo-baka, my PC, refuses to let the Network stay connected long enough to finish a sentence on AIM. T_T; That's annoying.
2.) Ki has taken over where our desks are... and I couldn't really sit over there anymore anyway. -_-;; I hate the space arrangements here. I repeat myself again on this, but it's true.
Anyway... I'm off to finish my projects. x.O; Later!
