I spent most of my break getting fat.
Pretty much that. I had break this past week where I did nothing but sit on my ass, watch TV and casually surf the internet. I did very little. I'm checking out pretty hardcore right now. I have senioritus and I still have two more classes in the summer I need to take. Well. Not completely. The only things I'm super invested in is Web and Motion right now. Motion I can't really post much about because I just started animating and I've got like...15 seconds done. The web stuff is on my blog.
Also been working on my website.
I don't have a domain or anything yet. I keep meaning to buy it. I will soon. I wanted to get it before my business cards were sent out to print but that's not going to happen. It's okay, I just need them for my senior show. Maybe I can hand write them in later. Like a boss. I don't know if you can tell but I'm a fan of side bar menus and dots. Notice my snazzy logo and my fancy designer fonts.
This is the first weekend in a long while that I haven't scheduled off but I have it off. And right around my birthday too. Awwyeah. Turning 23 isn't really all that exciting, but it's the last birthday I'll be fully dependent on my parents. So, uh, live that shit up. For my birthday I got a droid phone, it's pretty cool and what not. So I took some photos when Beth and I volunteered at this Maple Sugar festival thing. We did a presentation on owls.
Where I stalk Beth on her phone. We ate pancakes after this.
The long walkway was kinda cool. It reminded me of a creepy place where the horror movie heroine would run down and someone in a carriage would chase them. Without a head.
The guy who showed us the owl stuff initially and how to present to people. The kids are clearly interested in varying levels. The boy's disgusted face amuses me. That's a real owl talon he's holding. The parts are from owls who died naturally in their care. They had...three owls with them now.
Annnnd that's one of the ladies presenting the owl. He was really cute. But he lost vision in one eye after getting hit by a car, so they can't release him out in the wild. Sad.
And my break had to end with the release of Pokemans. My sister had to drive me back so I could go to work. I can't wait to nap already. I meet with my possibly future roomates girlfriend. So that'll be interesting.
