Late katsucon and some stuff
First off, my LJ account is getting spammed, only my public entries so I'm just keeping it private for now so I don't have to worry about it. Katsucon was fun as shit. I had a really good time, I'm glad I got to see everyone again (well almost everyone :<< )
But for the most part everything I wrote is here in my blog so you can get the more OFFICAL account. But some more fun stuff I didn't include.
- Fucking amazing hotel but confused as hell cleaning staff. Everyone was sleeping when around 10am they came to try and clean. I answered the door and told them not to and there was this odd moment where she wanted me to sign something then changed her mind and left. She came back a few hours later asking again if she came by because she lost her paper...and then came back AGAIN before she finally left for good. Wtf.
- The dealers room was a bit disappoint. It felt smaller then last year. There was some major booths that weren't there. But I still managed to get something. Two small Tales of the Abyss figures.
Now I just need Tear. And all the Destiny figures...but now I have trouble finding them...baww I should have bought them sooner. Which reminds me I really kinda sorta want to cosplay Natalia someday.
- The 999 shoot was so much fun and the epic food quest after was insane. The mad wind happened that day. It was so bad I think we were all almost blown away. Beth almost lost her doll's wig, thanks to Michael that was saved.
- Lyse beating up Michael at night to keep him from snoring. SOMEHOW we survived the night.
And I am super, super late with posting this. I totally meant to post sooner but lost track of time. I'm still trying to figure out what my cosplays for Otakon are going to be. The only think I know for sure is Kamila and Claudia.
Anything else I'm sure I'll figure out. But I put off Claudia from Katsu because I wasn't able to get the fabric in time, which was fine because I was able to make Merryweather.
I need to order my business cards soon. My thesis is coming up, and I start going on interviews. OH I found a possible roomate, I feel really relieved about it, because now I don't have to worry about moving and what not. It's a dude, I'm not really bothered by it, but my father is a different story. So we'll see. He seems like a nice guy from what I spoke with him, I should meet up with him sometime soon so he can check out the place and what not.
Spring break is....on Tuesday, of all the silly things. I'm going to my parents place for the weekend. Work has been meh but I've been making some money on the side selling stuff and making plushies, which sort of makes up for work.
Side note: bitch ass neighbors be loud. Rather then fighting and screaming, their giggling, laughing and having a fucking party it seems. Or rolling around and knocking shit over. Same thing. I hear them cackle every single time they come home.
I'm absolutely dying to get the Castlevania Double Pack. It's only $9.99 but fuck it's near impossible to find, and around $30 online. But I'm veing so stubborn because I really want to play Aria of Sorrow before Dawn and with the double pack I can get Harmony of Dissonance too...
