Happy Belated Halloween everyone! I somehow got conned into handing out candy for the kiddies this year, but it was kind of worth it since I got to dress up as a Hunter again and scare the crap out of a bunch of kids. One kid ran away screaming after she asked how I did my makeup and I replied, "Lots and lots of blood". I don't think anyone knew who I was supposed to be, but most of them seemed impressed/scared.
I had a Halloween party a few days earlier and decided to go out and see Paranormal Activity 2. I was scared silly by the first one (I'm a wuss, haha), so I figured the second one would be scary too. For anyone wanting to go see it, I'll say this: it was purely fanfare. It had a few scary moments, but when it came down to it, it was a movie made just because the first one was popular. It tried to link up to the first movie, but in the end it was kind of a bad attempt. A lot of things didn't make too much sense when looking at all the things in the first movie and then hooking it up to the second.
I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised though considering it was a sequel and sequels are never good. It was a good movie for Halloween though and it did have it's moments. Much better than some of the other horror movies debuting anyway. *COUGHSAW3DCOUGH*
I rented the Nightmare on Elm Street remake too, but only because we wanted to play a drinking game to it, haha. IT WORKED. XD
