Mo is apparently a conundrum, she is showing some signs of livery and kidney distress but her levels aren't high in any one area to pinpoint what is going on. It does not look like fatty liver, at this time, but they are going to put in the feeding tube so it does not turn into that. They are thinking that it might be an infection or a blockage that hopefully has passed, as they don't see signs of full blockage just some heavy looking areas in her bile duct. She did have some blood in her kidneys but they don't know where it came from or why. She has also had a low grade fever on and off all night and morning.
They are very confused, but they say she does not look like she is in distress.
They are changing her anti-biotics to one that will help the liver more, rather than doubling it up as I think the old one helped cause the problem with nausea and lack of appetite. So they are taking that into consideration with the new one.
I requested that they keep her observed for a while after the feeding tube is installed and she gets food in her, to make sure she starts to do better and to see if there are any changes. We should be able to bring her home again Sat. before 6pm.
Keep everything crossed though and keep sending good juju. She needs it, as do I.
I am doing ok, just stressed and tired. Trying to remain as calm as possible and keep positive.
