(no subject)
Weekend, let's see, lawns as usual and I went to Otsenango park with the Chris family tribe for a picnic. I spent most of my time hanging out with the baby geese there. They're so fuzzy! I was feeding them carrots (which I found out was illegal), but the babies nor the adults could chew them eventhough I broke them into small pieces. Also a couple of ducks came by for unknown reasons. All these critters were pretty close to Chris and myself too. :-)
My mom has been bizarre lately cuz' of whatever my dad's been saying and doing. Like I went downstairs on saturday to find her sleeping on the floor with the dogs. She's been buying tons of sugary shit, more than the usual amount, eventhough I heard her say to the other family members to watch your money cuz' we're not doin' so well. And she's been just afraid in general from what I can see, but she attempts to hide it well with smiles.
I've been taking the past two days off, and it's been very nice. I went to made in japan to drop off my art submission, and I ended up talking to the owner's a while. I found out that someone's been stealing from made in japan a lot (and it's the same person that stole while my club was there), but they refuse to press charges for various reasons. PLus a bunch of other things.
I also got a phone call from NCI saying they want to interview me...I'll go and hear what they have to say. But no response yet from Quiznos, apparently a love for anime wasn't enough.. I can't call them either cuz' they don't have a phone # I can reach them. The NCI thing appears to have certain pluses and the big minuses I can see is that it's a very long bus ride, it might be a high stress job, and Brendan'll be my superior there. I'm probably not going to take the job there from what I can see currently, but the interview is a definate ok.
