Am so tired. Have a lot of homework. ;____;
BUT we'll be binding a book of our own in Design class - sewing every page, and everything, and I'm sort of excited about it. I am NOT excited about having to find a real client to print real flyers/tryptich/dyptich/whatever. Am I really supposed to just walk up to someone and say 'please paaaaaaay me'? o_O
I'm both loving and hating using watercolors The Right Way. On one hand, I absolutely ADORE the watercolors, they're so easy to mix and the colors are so pretty, BUT I hate the whole 'wet the paper, tape it to triplay, pray it'll actually lift from it on the end and that you won't end up with half of the guarro paper stuck to the stupid piece of wood'. Ugh. I've painted on loose pieces of paper for years and, promise, it's been fine. I don't care for the paper to be completely flat.
In other news, after reading several comics of the Year One franchise, I can say that none of them come close to the beauty that is Batgirl's tale. Nightwing's is pretty good, though, and it's sort of painful to see Jason Todd being all flippant and cute and, well, Robin-ish. ;___;
Also, why is it that every single male in the DC 'verse has black hair? Bonus points if he's also blue-eyed. o_O
