La-la-la *is a fic-whore*
Well, as a reaction to Doomsday, all of my favorite Doctor Who authors have written fic! It is wonderful, and I feel like reccing, so:
Let's start with something other than Rose, shall we? Things Not Said Is an amazing Brigadier/Sarah, Three/Sarah, Harry/Sarah, Harry/Sarah/Four, Ten/Sarah, implied Brigadier/Two (no, no kidding). I don't know much about Old Skool Who, and yet this was so incredibly intriguing. By sakuracorr
midnight_ljc's altern ending of Doomsday. Lovely art.
Now, pre-Doomsday, but with the spoiler of DOOM already on mind: Hey Now, Hey Now by cryptile is just wondefully deep and heart wrenching, with great characterizations. I heart this author, her Downtime is one of my favorite DW fics ever.
Antifreeze by calapine is just brilliant! It made me laugh so much. Ten, Death.
And Dismantle the Sun by icebluenothing does feature some alt!Doctor, and of course, as everything he writes, it's just amazing. Another wonderful story of his, post PotW is The Candle That Burns Brightest.
Unsent, by casirafics is Rose's usent letter to the Doctor. Oh, it aches so much. ;-;
I truly expected misscam to write something like Norwegian Journey, and she didn't dissapoint. Oh so lovely, and a wonderful Rose. Post Doomsday as well. She's also posted a list in here of all the fic she's written.
I have much more great fic over at my memories (the only thing I use them for, really - I prefer tagging for fic of mine), so go and check it out if you're interested.
Wrote a bit more of the alt!Doctor fic today, it should be about 400 words now - not so much, but there you go. *g*
