Travelling is always such slow sorrow.
I went to Bicester at the weekend, small town just past Oxford. I missed my train by five minutes going (thanks FirstBus), and that meant that the journey there took an extra two hours, and on the way back the trains were suspended, which meant that when I should have made it into Bristol by 2pm, in the end I got into Temple Meads at 5:30.
That meant I missed being able to run my Tides game, and missed Chris' Unknown Armies, which was a pity. However I did get to see Paul & Tab, who I hevn't seen for months, as well as Ru, Hanbury &
huggyrei. We managed to play a prequel session of Ragnarok Sky - a Firefly/ anime styled science fantasy romp in a universe loosely derived from Norse Myth. Much fun was had by all as we fought against Hawkmen pirates and escaped from a castle on the eve of the count's wedding (he was a wrong 'un) with his intended bride.
I also read the first three graphic novels of the new She-Hulk series - it's really good, and has a great love of the whole marvel universe and it's history.
