Season premiere definitely had its moments, but it still left me feeling somewhat unsettled. Brennan's Flanderization continues, and the fact that so many fans saw a dynamic that the creators did not (and seemed surprised about) is also unsettling to me. At the moment, I feel as if there are fan writers who have a much clearer grasp of the characters than the showrunners do. And it bothers me to feel that way.
Elsewhere, this weekend's sleepover was cancelled; we'll do more in November. Haunted house opens on Friday and we're on to reprise our roles from last year. I'll have more details on that later.
I may end up taking tomorrow off. My work PC died around 11:30 Friday morning, and by the end of the day I still didn't have a replacement. Lacking a computer, there's not much I can do--scratch that, there's nothing I can do, and I doubt seriously they want to pay me to sit around rereading the latest KMT Journal all day. I'm calling in the morning, and if there's no replacement, I'll use a vacation day and lay around here writing and playing harp.
Oh, and come Friday (and October), I'll be doing my 31 Days of Halloween posts like last year. I've found some interesting new images that I think you'll enjoy. :)
