"Nothing Left"
Okay, I'm finally done with the AMV. Really. Well, until I get some feedback on it and then go make some more improvements. I'm really enjoying working on this because I'm learning so much. So please let me know what you think. If something stands out to you as "Ack! What was that supposed to be?" then tell me! (but nicely, please?)
Anyway, here's what I'm trying for with this AMV. The song is of course Ed of FMA talking about the mistake he made and how he wants to put it right. He caused something to be taken from Al, and he wants to get it back and make him like he used to be.
The story I'm trying for in the AMV is kind of the opposite of the song's. That's why I had to edit the song as well. (for more on that and why I picked this song see my previous entry) The song is about Ed's desire to make right what he did wrong. Electra can't do that. She didn't originally cause Vincent to become what he is, but all that's left is to stop him. Her 'sin' is that she didn't when she had the chance on the train. She hesitated and he shot first, then killed dozens on the train. At the end, when she does finally do it, he comes out of his insanity in time to recognize who has shot him. Therein, of course, is the tragedy. I just hope that actually comes through in the vid!
