My story up on ReBoot.com
Some years ago I wrote a story for a the ReBoot Revival project. They were going to have it illustrated and posted on the site, but then, like so many other parts of the revival, the ball got dropped over on Rainmaker's site and it didn't happen.
I just randomly checked the official ReBoot site for first time in months, and lo and behold the story is up! The illustrations are pencil drawings, but that's not the illustrator's fault; as I understand it they stopped her, saying they would have one of their people do the finishing work. I think they cut the story down, but that's not surprising, as you don't need so much descriptive text when you have pictures.
So, I gots my fanfic up on the property's official site. Is I special or what?
I'd like it even more if they actually credited me for the story I wrote rather than saying it's all by the illustrator. However, anyone familiar with my writing style will find absolute proof that I'm the author in the first sentence of the story.
