I set several goals for myself, and I just passed one:
That's a full freakin' combo AA on HVAM heavy, a mean 9-footer, suckas! Hot damn, I can remember struggling even to survive this beast. Although lately I've gotten good enough on fast streams that this one doesn't throw me, even during the "death run" at the end. Lately the hardest parts have been the heartbeat at the end and the first seven notes after the initial jump. Just had to keep trying to get those down.
This may sound strange, but this is one of the few DDR "songs" that suggests a vivid image. When I play this I imagine the latter part of an operation that has suddenly gotten very hairy. The patient flatlines, and I can hear the defibrillator being used three times. At the very end the heartbeat is restored. (This may be later in the same scene as the original Healing Vision, before things got so dire.) Heh, I know, this is kind of like seeing images in a Rorscharch inkblot, but nobody has ever accused me of being short on imagination.
