Dooooooooooooooom.
This evening I turned out the lights and watched the unrated version of DOOM while eating animal crackers.
The unrated version is just like the regular movie, but with a naked female zombie at the beginning and even more padding throughout. Seriously, they could have cut a half hour out of that film without harming it. Or, better yet, filled that half hour with better monsters - cacodemons, lost souls, mancubi - and shots of Hell. And turned The Rock into The Cyberdemon.
I'm just sayin'.
Still, it was a dumb, fun movie, and the first person sequence toward the end had me laughing out loud, partially at the funny bits and partially in gamer-nerd glee.
