Hello Kitty Overload
I think I've only told this to totoro79 but I went to a HELLO KITTY BLING birthday party last Saturday night. And if you're wondering how old the birthday girl is, she actually turned 27, but I say GOOD FOR HER! ...you know, for showing the world that at this time and age, you're never really too old for Hello Kitty!
If you can't read what it says on the card next to the Hello Kitty doll, this is what it says:
All Hello Kitty & Friends decoration come from a private collection. Please do NOT take home. Inquire first if the urge is too overwhelming.
LOL XD That last sentence cracks me up!
The long dining table is decorated with flowers and Hello Kitties. You probably can't see it but there are little Hello Kitty figurines inside each of the hanging glass globes.

You probably can't see it but even some of the flowers had Hello Kitty ribbons and eyes and nose XD

This pudding was INTACT for like the longest time! I don't think anyone wanted to cut through Kitty's head XD

My dessert plate... which I ended up not really eating coz I felt guilty chewing on Hello Kitty's head XD I'M NOT A KITTY KILLER!!! BWAH!

And of course... Hello Kitty bday cake!
This is what I managed to bring home. A Hello Kitty Olympian athlete (I think!) marzipan, and a Hello Kitty butterfly doll....... after massive begging and pleading to the birthday girl, she finally let some of us take home a plush doll XD
I think her party was really really and I mean really creative and fun! She basically had games going on the whole night... there were 2 mahjong tables with Hello Kitty mahjong sets, and 2 Black Jack table with (of course!) Hello Kitty card decks, and then she had dart boards and also that game where you throw rings to bottles. When we arrive we were basically given a pouch that contained 5 (five) chocolate gold coins, and we're supposed to use that to play games and multiply the coins throughout the entire night (yes, in a way, she *IS* encouraging gambling LOL). If we win, we get more coins, if we lose, then tough luck!
Another funniest thing, there's also kind of like a treasure hunt! Apparently she had pasted 60 (yeah, as in SIXTY) teeny tiny Hello Kitty stickers ALL OVER THE PREMISES. And we're supposed to hunt for them and take pictures of them, and then show it to her AND also be able to name the location, and she'll give us extra coins for each one we located. I found 8 stickers, in the most ridiculous places!!!! Seriously! I searched ALL NIGHT and I only found 8!!! (And even that was thanks to some "subtle" hints!) Basically, I didn't find any that was purely my own discovery. I'm totally blind.
It's ridiculously funny and cute! But I think it's the most fun I had at parties in a looooong time <3
