Coz I'm A True Blood Dork
Posting this a little late, but my cousin @ nenane met some of the True Blood cast in the Out4Blood concert she went to last Saturday (Friday night CA time)!
I'm telling you, she's totally taking advantage of living in LA to the max, and I feel like I get to live my dreams through her and spazz about it. She already stalked several awards show, and got to met Mark Salling from GLEE. She's working in Disney now, and she might be looking at a potential recruitment at DreamWorks, but she felt bad to her parents because accepting DW means it'll postpone her homecoming. Again.
I told her, OH GOD PLEASE JUST STAY THERE! STAY THERE FOREVER SO I CAN GO TAKE ONE MONTH OFF AND HAVE A PLACE TO STAY IN CALIFORNIA! (Tad selfish, but seriously? Why abandon an opportunity there for sucky Indonesia?) And plus, it's DREAM-FREAKIN-WORKS FOR GOD'S SAKE!
So back to the spazztic True Blood bit.
She didn't even expect to meet anyone there, but she loved True Blood as much as I did (and I was probably 100% responsible) so when she heard there's a True Blood concert happening in celebration of their Grammy nomination, she thought, oh why the hell not?
It was Saturday afternoon when I got a PING! on my BB and it pretty much went like this:
Her: Someone from True Blood is here.
Me: WHO?
Her: I dunno. I think it's the vampire hater.
Me: WHICH ONE? OMG IS IT STEVE NEWLIN? IF YES, LOOK OUT FOR ASKARS!
Her: Heh there's no way ASkars would come to this event.
Me: Who is itttttttttt????
Her: Oh he's singing onstage now, he just said he plays TERRY.
Me: *GASP* TERRY??? AS IN TERRY BELLEFLEUR?
Her: I think so!
Me: Does he look like THAT AWKWARD COOK in Merlotte's!?
Her: YES THAT'S HIM!
Me: OMG SPAZZZZZZZZZZ HE IS MY FAVORITE TRUE BLOOD HUMAN! PLEASE TAKE A PIC WITH HIM!
Her: OK I'll hang around and see if I can catch him!
Me: His name is TODD LOWE! Just so you know his name when you get to talk to him!
Her: OK!
Me: AND PLEASE TELL HIM BUG-EYED TERRY TURNS ME ON!
Her: You weirdo.
Me: Come on! That "Bullshit! God has horns!" episode? Totally HOT!
So while I was spazzing waiting for more updates I tweeted a bunch of spazztic tweets, until suddenly she sent me a picture on BBM with a grinning emoticon, and when I opened it, it was a picture of her and MICHELLE FORBES!
HOLY SHIT.
DIES.
I hated Maryann Forrester to the max, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Michelle Forbes, I thought she is such a gorgeous woman, and she played Maryann SO brilliantly too! The picture had a peace sign behind Michelle Forbes' head. It was too funny. Apparently Michelle Forbes came with a friend and that was the friend doing the peace sign behind her head xD
And then not too long after, she sent me another picture and it was her with TODD LOWE.
DIES AGAIN.
Her: I showed Todd Lowe your tweet!
Me: DIES. YOU DID?! AND...?
This is the tweet, btw. *facepalms*
Her: He says, "She's Indonesian and she knows the word 'schtoop'?" XDDDDDD
Me: OMG I LOVE HIM!!! T_______T
Her: And I told him that bug-eyed Terry turns you on.
Me: AND?
Her: He says THANK YOU. LOL xD
Then I realized just how freaky that sounds. Great, now he probably thinks he has a fan in the form of some psychotic Indonesian jihad princess of some sort.
The funniest thing she told me was that when she first got to the Out4Blood event, the only people she spotted were kinda old-ish (well, not the MTV crowd for sure), and she said, one person she spotted looked like he came straight out of Bon Temps. Fat, bald and wearing plaid.
And then turns out that person she was referring to was Chris Bauer, aka DETECTIVE ANDY BELLEFLEUR. OH LOL. ROFL. LMAO. Indeed these people all came from Bon Temps.
Seriously though, I'm not lying about Terry Bellefleur being my favorite human! I love Hoyt to bits too but I JUST LOVE TERRY. He amuses me, and I think he's kinda cute (in a grizzly bear-ish kinda way OTZ). Always thought Terry is such an overlooked character. I think he got me when he kicked Andy Bellefleur away and hugged a freaked out Lafayette like a baby on the Merlotte's kitchen floor. That was a little tad weird, but that was a side of Terry we never saw before. I LOVE TERRY!
And I recently developed this HUGE CRUSH on Andy Whitfield from Spartacus: Blood & Sand, and the first thing I thought was how this Andy Whitfield guy is really a cross between Chace Crawford and Todd Lowe. Just perfect.
Anyway... sadly, she left at midnight and found out later on that Stephen Moyer AND Anna Paquin arrived shortly after, and she went looking for a gun to shoot herself in the head. I told her that she's lucky Alexander Skarsgård wasn't there too or else I would've SHOT HER MYSELF.
I actually bought Comic-Con tickets for this upcoming July. I don't even know if I can make it, but oh well, I still got two years' worth of visa, so all I need is a plane ticket to Los Angeles, and we'll both drive to San Diego together. It's always been my lifelong dream to go to Comic-Con ...and Supernatural Con, and Merlin Con, and the list goes on... but Comic-Con was kinda like THE Holy Grail, as I've wanted to go since 1999 but never got a chance to. SO HOPEFULLY, 2010 is the lucky year :)
