I could get used to working in latex gloves. It's like having gecko fingers.
Lol.
Hair dye is great for showing up how desperately the bath needs scrubbing. Oh dear.
I discovered I still have a pack of konbu in the cupboard, and rediscovered how delicious it is in chicken noodle soup. I think I know what I'm making tomorrow night :)
I am absolutely dead on my feet. Sadly brain is still catching up to that fact. On the other hand, I completed the file review, observations and recommendation on this latest report in just 4 hours. Go me!
Now I just need to pursuade brain it's not going to think about SQL until tomorrow. I shouldn't have to think about SQL at all, but software provider intentionally screwed up our search facilities, so now the core search isn't returning data in two critical fields. Critical as in I have about 150 additional entries in my query results which I'm going to have to weed out by hand, as we didn't know the fields were missing until today, and the extract had to be done...today! Creating a replacement query isn't hard, it's just time consuming, especially as their method of naming data tables is, well, arbitrary, to put it politely. The next time I see their engineer I'm going to beat him up with a rancid fish.
But, that's tomorrow. And if it narks me enough I might just have to go back and watch Iron Man a second time. Iron Man was great. In the childlike excitement at robots and big expolsions kind of way. The viewing of which was followed up by two days of silly dinosaur stories (Primeval series 1 and 2).
I think someone's fed my hamsters caffeine. Galli's going to make me dizzy soon if she doesn't stop with the circuits. And this is before they've had their fruit chunks. She doesn't have legs. She has a rocket in her backside.
Ugh, I need sleep.
