Swinging a hammer is harder than it looks, laying concrete is easier than it looks, and being the only lady on a construction crew is one of the most damn challenging experiences of my whole life. Struggling to find my power in a place where I feel rather powerless, trying to stay connected to communities and projects that are important to me while working nights and having limited access to the nearest city (Boston), trying to figure out if working and living with Dave is what I want to be doing right now. Sometimes the love is stronger than others and sometimes I just feel a little overwhelmed by it all.
