Okay, it's time for one of those "yes, I am alive" posts. Yes. I am alive. However, I've been fending off a killer sinus infection for about 4 weeks now. I've gone the antibiotic/narcotic route twice and, honestly, coming out of that funk is bad enough… so I'm just winging it right now and trying to get rest, blah, blah

I saw that you were leaving for a while, too. Boy, when RL decides to act up, it really does put a crimp in the fandom life. But I'm glad to see you back. Haven't yet seen your reaction to the SPN finale - and I'm still sorting it out myself - so I've got that to look forward to. There are only a few people in that fandom I feel comfortable with and you are the main one. I've actually listened to a few SPN podfics, but I haven't (and probably won't) jump in whole hog. I'm not a Wincest girl or a J2 girl, but I do see the lovely potential for unlimited and stomach-twisting UST between Dean and Cass, though I'd probably be more of a gen or cannon reader. I love the show just for the sheer fun and pleasure of watching.

Yes, and when we shared a fandom that was the one thing I saw about your writing - it would be almost lyrical in some places but edgy, where you could almost feel the grit between your teeth and that's always been what's grabbed me. That's what makes me remember something I've read whether it be fanfiction or literary fiction.
