My seven-year-old daughter, who just last week was told by a classmate that she couldn't join a club because "Black people can't join," understands the immense significance of last night's decision.  This morning she didn't watch Martha the talking dog or Word Girl, she watched the news.

The debate is over and it was good to see both candidates actually getting to the issues. I thought they both did a good job in that they likely secured love from their already devoted fans. But I don't think they did much by way of converting undecideds. We'll see.
