My eye surgery is coming up tomorrow. For an exciting preview of what may be in store for me, I give you the following quote from my doctor's informational brochure: "In the first few days you may experience strong pain, tearing, burning, reddening, and light sensitivity, comparable to being hit in the eye with a branch. Pain medication is allowed, but not very effective."

Since I have been graphically warned about how I'm going to be spending some serious time in a dark room with my eyes closed, could you please rec me any podfics, podcasts, freely available audiobooks and tv-shows-you-can-watch-with-your-eyes-closed you can think of? My idea of entertainment begins and ends with reading, and I have no idea what to do with myself.
