Oh hell. I have a cat with a fairly newly-diagnosed diabetes. We're still in the process of trying to figure out how much insulin she needs. So far, it has been a fairly tedious process of us increasing her insulin by a tiny amount, measuring insanely high blood sugar levels, increasing the insulin ( Read more... )

One of my cats has diabetes, I know how scary it is when they start acting weird. :( I hope you and your kitty stay okay!

Same way you diagnose it in humans, really - eats all the time, drinks all the time, pees all the time, and loses weight.
