Things you can do here that you cannot do there:
- wear more than one layer of make-up without the danger of sweating it off
- straighten your hair, then walk outside
- buy a ticket for a movie at seven. walk into the theatre at seven. the movie is playing.
- only take five minutes to drive somewhere
- marvel at the fact that derby is actually quite smaller than you remember
- buy three new books without mom yelling at you
- learn that you are actually more ghetto than you thought, and that your mom is kickass
Although, since we live in the boonies (a word they know here!), I would call us more PWT than ghetto. BUT I OUT-GHETTO'D TIFFANY'S OLD TRAILER SO I FEEL ACCOMPLISHED ANYWAY.
