So I wake up, go to math lab. Not bad, get alot done in a short amount of time. Today is so warm and nice out as well, so walking around campus was so relaxing and refreshing. I dont really have any agenda today so I was taking my time walking to the financial ad office, and then ran into my friend Danielle and her friend. They were walking around surveying people for the christian club on "where will you be in 10,000 yrs", so, being up for about anything, I agreed to take the survey. Some short questions. And we started talking after about the bible and religion and I think I did pretty well in holding my own views. The one girl was talking really fast, kind of trying to summerize christianity in a second for me, asking me if I know this or that, the ten commandments. So I go off telling her yes, where they came from, why moses when to the mountain and bla bla bla, im sure werle could have appreciated it all. But she was rather blown away. She asked me what I thought would happen if I died to day and was in gods presence with these 10 commandments looking me in the face. To which I said I dont really believe in god and that the whole rules thing was more of a guide line I thought and loosly based morals to all live by. She went off on some other topics, and alot of the time I felt like I was getting run over with this almost formulated process to convince me of christianity. Its not fair they go to camp and devote their lives to debate for this stupid topic. I have all my thoughts and ideas, but I guess I just need to formulate some a little more and apply them to similar situations they could understand and relate to. They asked me what I thought would happen when I died. And I was thinking about this the other day, and really I think our whole rational abilities and understanding of what is good, bad, or reality would slowly fade away and our... joy of life and the joy of the moment would be too overwhelming to have any sense of fear or anxiety. So what I was getting to is that death will be a completely new state of existance, mentally and of course, physically. So there is no way with our rational deductive minds to invision what it will be and how we will come to comprehend it till the moment it occurs.
