We ♥ Katamari is pretty fun. It feels kind of more like an expansion pack than a whole new game, but there's enough new stuff there to keep me happy. The racey go fast level is fun but frustrating (why do they diss me when I get 10m? I haven't been able to get even that again!) and there are some other neat twists. It's mean having two people there to talk smack about you when you don't do awesomely at a level, though. ... Although the end helps assuage some of that resentment. Also, I adore frolicing around with my cousins. (There is in fact a frolic button. It is the cutest thing ever.)

Also also, I went and got the DVDs for the first season of the Amazing Race 'cos shut up I like some 'reality' TV okay, and... dude, it's really good. Some of it is the format, I think, just 'cos as time goes on people get all 'reality show' savvy and artifical and... this first season it doesn't really seem like a 'reality' show. It's more like if it were a documentary about a bunch of people who decided to try racing around the world. Also, the people are a whole lot cooler. As in, sometimes funny and mostly articulate and acting like human beings to each other. Also actually having normal-type interactions with each other. Now it's all "grr alliances bah archetypes is my good side on the camera durrrrr" Like... nobody's friends, and here there's some people who've become friends, and that's just a lot happier and actually more interesting to watch than a bunch of bland people blanding at each other from a distance. Especially when they all realize like rational people that they are still competing against each other. ... Really, I think I most object to the blandess in a lot of the new people. And the dumbness. Anyways. Watching it also increased my scarf a lot! Wooo.
