You do your thinking with a one-track mind...
Just after I posted last night, I got a call from the Herald Zeitung ... Pages 5 and 9 hadn't been sent. So at 3 a.m. I had to drag my ass back across town into the office to do it. Sooooo damned frustrating. Apparently, Mershon and Chris forgot to export both of their pages.
I got to class this morning realizing that I hadn't worked on the assignment that was due. I approached the classroom all nerves, and when I got to the door there was a note saying "Jeff Davis out sick 2/13 ... Leave work in class envelope." I nearly dropped to my knees and thanked heaven above. But I settled into my seat and printed out a few versions of my logo.
A little later on, I went back to the bus stop hoping to get home before noon. Unfortunately, the Blanco River bus didn't arrive until about 12:25. UGH! I spent that time waiting in the cold until it dawned on me that waiting inside the Student Center would be a better idea. People watching is hilarious... especially around the bus stops.
MORE BUS NOTES: The sky is bright blue, hardly any clouds. The sun is shining... but it's so damn cold! Somehow the air is chilier than this morning. The guy with the cute hair is on the bus again. He's wearing a stylishly tattered white hoodie. He's cute in an ethnic sort of way. :P Yes, I realize I'm a bad person.
