I'll try to stop posting so much soon, I swear. I'm in the first giddy flush of a new 'ship obsession...if this one is going over old ground, delete it, list mod person!

Im trying to kick my muses into gear and write more for this 'ship, but they are hibernating or something. grrrr

I got plot bunnies coming out of my ears, atm. I'm also off to the cinema with a fellow Buffy fanfic writer (treacle_a) this evening, so we may have a "medical shows we love" conversation about ideas (oh, gods, I'm thinking ER/House xover now). There's a couple of songfics one of which is in response to challenge #14, something involving mango chutney but I don't really know what yet and a dream/fantasy one, all bouncing about saying "write me! write me! me! memememe!".

I'm just so "wow, I have a new 'ship!" that I feel the urge to waffle and 12.07 was just on terrestrial in the UK this week.

I am a huge Buffy fan!!! I havent had a whole lot of luck in the writing department with that fandom, but I do love to read the fics!

Gotta watch out for those darn plot bunnies! They are worse than dust bunnies!!! :-)

My Buffy bunnies kind of hopped off into the sunset at the end of season 7 - I've only written a couple of stories since (Nineteen Days and Kali Dances). I'm still reading other fic though.

Not a problem. Feel free to post your thoughts. The only requirement is that you cut spoilers (which you did) and if you have spoilers for more than one episode in a post, you note which ones before the cut.

And I totally feel you on the bunnies. I want to write so bad; I have plot bunnies hopping all over the place. But Real Life is a bitch and a half for at least maybe the next month, so I don't know when I'm going to have the time. :P

I really loved this episode for the Ray/Neela moments and it helped restore my faith in ER :)

But there were aspects that didn't, most notably;

WHY WOULD POLICE SHOOT AT A MAN WHO HAS A LITTLE GIRL IN HIS ARMS OH MY GOD!

There's a line about how they think she was shot by gun going off as he fell, but that sounds like cops trying to cover their arses.

Yep, I agree. Bad, bad writing. But the Ray/Neela moments made up for it. *sigh*
